Siemens Smart Infrastructure's Smart Building Solutions unit seeks an experienced Technical Lead for Project Engineering & Integration in the ASEAN region. This role involves ensuring high-quality standards in commissioning processes and critical project implementation. As a part of Siemens, the position provides the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a high-growth environment, collaborating with diverse teams and contributing to business growth in Singapore and other ASEAN countries. The role is based in Singapore, with anticipated travel within the ASEAN region.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Supervises Solution-related technical support activities, leading a team of Project and System Engineers.

  • Supports Project & Execution Head in communicating and understanding the strategy within the team.

  • Strong working cooperation with head of Project Manager to plan and facilitate engineering resources and review engineering requirements from Presales organization.

  • Responsible for meeting utilization and productivity targets within the team consistently.

  • Takes accountability for improving profitability in the solution business, identifying efficiencies, supporting strategic pricing, conducting benchmarks, and fostering collaboration, change management, innovation, and adoption for successful business transformation initiatives.

  • Ensures Health and Safety of team members, implementing and enforcing adherence to policies and processes.

  • Implements and ensures adherence to policies, processes, and methods for solution operations activities.

  • Drives continuous learning and improvement within the team, setting and defining improvement targets.

You’ll win us over by:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

  • 7-10 years of Project Engineering & Integration management experience in Building Technology Systems (Automation, Fire, Security). We highly value candidates with a proven track record in managing and leading a performing teams. Experience in effectively guiding and motivating teams towards successful project outcomes will be a significant asset in this role.

  • Strong understanding in IT/Network/Cloud systems and ability to read MEP drawings and specifications.

  • Knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet.

  • Experience in Data Centre, Pharma, Hospital, Lab/GMP facility, and Infrastructure projects.

  • Familiarity with Digital Engineering processes, Common Data Environment, and Data Standard.

  • Proven ability to innovate and collaborate, including international experience managing diverse teams, with strong communication skills in English. PMP certification and PRINCE2 or ACP are advantageous.
