Job Description

Do you have a keen eye for design and aesthetics and want to work on the look and feel of some of the world’s biggest brands? Design Delivery Specialists [DDS] partner multi-functional partners to own packaging and retail design projects across the region. Through design intent realization and implementation, DDS bring our products to life in stores and in the hands of our consumers!

Your Team

You will report to the Design Manager within one of our regional Business Units. You will work extensively with colleagues from other teams including Marketing, Communications, and other functions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and executes design intent focusing on packaging (including Innovation and Limited Edition) and gifting projects.

  • Manage design execution project timing integrated into Initiative CPS, collaborating with designers and project leaders.

  • Manage the prototyping creation & review process by collaborating with internal and external partners.

  • Lead print and technical feasibility assessment reviews and discussions with suppliers.

  • Lead color development, print production proofing, and print trials with external partners.

  • Ensure the quality of the prototypes and attend print trials if requested.

  • Enable Fit For Use design by identifying specifications/restrictions.

  • Coordinate Design CIC review and approval process.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance design execution quality and process.

  • Work with speed and flexibility in uncertain circumstances.

  • Be accountable for excellence execution.

  • Stay updated on the latest packaging trends and materials.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of print feasibility, print quality and project management skills.

  • Strong understanding of Design development and prototyping process.

  • Over 4 years of experience in print, design related project management.

  • Design degree from an accredited college or university will be advantageous.

  • Superior project management skills with the ability to work independently, manage workloads, and provide accurate reporting.

  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, and communication skills.

  • Basic understanding in creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and MS Office Suite.

  • Adaptability in an environment of frequent change.

  • Passion for creativity and an eye for beauty.

  • Mandatory fluency in English communication skills while Mandarin communication skill is a plus as you will be working with markets like China and US.
