AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services

As a full-time Growth Strategy Lead, you will lead and manage strategic projects to understand customer landscape, conduct benchmarking and uncover new business opportunities and solve our biggest challenges for Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ). You will have the exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally and cross-geographically to identify problems and gaps, collect and analyze data, generate insights, come up with solutions, and implement them. You will execute on your proposed business strategies to solve difficult problems and remove blockers for our customers and our business. You will independently manage projects and run programs to deliver value for our business. To do so, you will need to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders such as sales, operations, and marketing teams. Through leading initiatives across Asia-Pacific, you will gain a unique insight into the internal workings of one of the world’s fastest growing IT organizations.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data and making business recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on ambiguous, high velocity, high impact programs
