Principal Accountabilities:

Sub Job Family Description: Responsible for developing, monitoring, and pursuing tactical and strategic initiatives/projects in a specialized area (e.g., commodities, vendor/contract relationships, or supplier management). Prepares analytical reports and forecasts in order to track product costs. Recommend appropriate course of action to senior purchasing/sourcing leaders. Work closely with other purchasing/sourcing staff to ensure total cost productivity. _Under close supervision:* Responsible for monitoring and pursuing tactical and strategic initiatives/projects in a specialized area (e.g., commodities, vendor/contract relationships, or supplier management)* Prepare analytical reports and forecasts in order to track product costs* Recommend appropriate course of action to senior procurement leaders* Work closely with other strategic sourcing staff to ensure total cost productivity

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field Equivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree to be determined by the nature of the specific job and the hiring manager’s criteria One year of related experience preferred* Strong written and oral communication skills
