The Senior Maintenance and investment engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the Eaton Ankara Temelli site maintenance activities and investment projects. This includes daily general maintenance along with various project work. The position will be responsible for maintenance employees concerning job performance, attendance, discipline, and administrative actions while continuously improving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. As a investment engineer will be responsible for supporting significant strategic investment projects from concept to launch. The individual will serve as a critical member of the Maintenance and Facilities team. The individual reports directly to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager.

What you’ll do:

  • Following and manage maintenance budget

  • Establish the direction, focus, and motivation of the Maintenance hourly personnel while promoting a non-routine task mindset.

  • Promote strong employee engagement through communication, employee development, teamwork, and recognition.

  • Oversee and/or conduct training of new or existing employees to support ongoing maintenance needs. Schedule work activities for personnel, review personnel work performances and provide feedback, coordinate safety, and personnel training activities.

  • Assure that appropriate tools/resources and spare parts of machines are available to the Maintenance personnel.

  • Develops specifications for competitive bidding, participates in the contractor selection process utilizing appropriate personnel and policies, to purchase and manage services for facilities, utilities, grounds and equipment maintenance.

  • Interface with other departments and contractors to ensure day-to-day and project completion.

  • Development of a Preventive Maintenance (PM) process, with audit controls and compliance metrics.

  • Be responsible for leading the movement on Total Predictive Maintenance, with emphasis on activities and participation.

  • Asess and resolve work problems, or assists personnel in solving work problems including troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.

  • Work with production planning personnel and production supervisors to prioritize machine repairs/maintenance activities on assets.

  • Responsible from selection, deployment and effectively used for cost reduction Energy Management&Tracking System.

  • Leading end to end Capex (Investment) projects which are responsible

  • Taking active rol in problem analysis & method selection,

  • Working with SCM to identify suppliers, obtain quotations and select suppliers.

  • Preparation of technical specifications with other stakeholders

  • Preparing RFQ (Request for quote) & BC (Business Case - Feasibility) & Car, MOC (Management of Change)

  • Being effective team member in layout design preparation durations, developing factory layouts,

  • Supporting for preparing profit plan for investment projects yearly, Checking compliance with this PP throughout the year

  • Invoice / payment tracking, Capspend follow up monthly, quarterly and yearly

  • Managing installation activities with EHS and CI perspective

  • Prepare and work to project timelines for investment projects

  • Preparation of I4.0 plans

  • Supporting the procurement process through staged sign off to delivery.

  • Ensure the work place has all preparations in place to support a seamless production lauch - includes items such as EHS procedures, production equipment, logistics equipment, work instructions, TPM etc

  • Carrying out activities about SAT & FAT for Machines and Installation and commissioning of process equipment

  • Conduct tuning loops to ensure process is capabie to deliver product quality

  • Take on other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Barchelor or Master Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering

  • Solid manufacturing background including minimum 4 years of maintenance background

  • Maintenance Experience in different machine types.

  • Experience in a union environment.

Skills:

  • Fluent English language skills

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills – ability to establish and work cross functional relationships.

  • Experience implementing and sustaining a TPM program.

  • Having knowledge of fault finding, revision and project completion in various PLC brands

  • Ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic circuit diagrams. Being able to create a project with EPLAN is preferred.

  • Experience in Lean, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence.

  • Preferably Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Quality System Tools

  • Proven leadership and possession of problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Understanding of problem solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. thought maps, 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis
