Executive Cabinetry Cabinet Builder I in Simpsonville, South Carolina

Executive Cabinetry is a growing company looking for a motivated, teachable, positive person to join our dynamic team! We are looking for a detail-oriented person who will be responsible for the preparation, positioning, and assembly of the cabinetry parts based on product order specifications. The position will work within our Wood Doors department and requires a strong attention to detail, accountability to self and others, and interdepartmental communication.

Responsibilities

  • Attach parts and subassemblies together to form completed units, using glue, dowels, nails, screws, and/or clamps
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together, or to press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces.
  • Unclamp work pieces and remove them from machines.
  • Use hand and power tools to install various components in the manufacturing of cabinets.
  • Bore holes for insertion of screws or dowels, by hand or using boring machines.
  • Install hardware such as hinges, handles, catches, and drawer pulls, using hand tools.
  • Produce and assemble components of articles such as store fixtures, office equipment, cabinets, and high-grade furniture.
  • Verify dimensions, and check the quality and fit of pieces in order to ensure adherence to specifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in woodworking or carpentry preferred
  • Knowledge of how to add and subtract measurements.
  • Proficient with reading measuring devices to include tape measures, straight rule and levels.
  • Able to identify proper tools needed to complete tasks and use them effectively
  • Detail Oriented
