Aerotek Assembler in Simi Valley, California

Assemblers

1st and 2nd shift

Simi Valley CA

Description:

  • Performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations

  • Conducts inspections of own and/or other associates work to insure correctness

  • Uses hand tools and power tools to assembler product based off of schematics and blue prints, including torque wrenches (mechanical dept), screwdrivers, crimpers (electrical dept)

  • Utilizes testing tools such as multimeters, leak test equipment, and computer based testing

  • Applies process specifications governing the production of product within an assigned cell, records production time and quantity data

  • Duties could include simple welding tasks, brazing, and/or soldering and may operate light machinery such as sand blaster, electro-etching processing, or press

  • If have sewing experience or drive to learn, duties may include using industrial sewing machine (restraints dept)

  • Actively demonstrates all safety policies and procedures

  • Open to cross training and learning

Shift timings and Pay -

  • Monday to Friday with or without OT

  • 1st shift : 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM - $18/hr

  • 2nd shift : 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM - $19/hr

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.

  • Must have at least 1 year of blue print reading experience.

  • Must be ITAR compliant.

  • Must be able to read and communicate in English.

  • Aerospace is a plus
