Aerotek Assembler in Simi Valley, California
Assemblers
1st and 2nd shift
Simi Valley CA
Description:
Performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations
Conducts inspections of own and/or other associates work to insure correctness
Uses hand tools and power tools to assembler product based off of schematics and blue prints, including torque wrenches (mechanical dept), screwdrivers, crimpers (electrical dept)
Utilizes testing tools such as multimeters, leak test equipment, and computer based testing
Applies process specifications governing the production of product within an assigned cell, records production time and quantity data
Duties could include simple welding tasks, brazing, and/or soldering and may operate light machinery such as sand blaster, electro-etching processing, or press
If have sewing experience or drive to learn, duties may include using industrial sewing machine (restraints dept)
Actively demonstrates all safety policies and procedures
Open to cross training and learning

Shift timings and Pay -
Monday to Friday with or without OT
1st shift : 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM - $18/hr
2nd shift : 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM - $19/hr
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have at least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.
Must have at least 1 year of blue print reading experience.
Must be ITAR compliant.
Must be able to read and communicate in English.
Aerospace is a plus
