Cree Tool Install Design Coordinator in Siler City, North Carolina

Here’s the Gist :

  • Manage Production Equipment Install Project request process: 

    • Processing of equipment install request  

    • Coordinate information requirements for installation design information for layout generation

    • Generate subfab layout updates to support production level layouts 

    • Communicate design requirements (electrical, mechanical, process, etc) to quality management coordinator to generate safety level checklist for installation

  • Design:

    • Update all design packages to reflect any field changes

    • Assist local tool install and global design team with design updates needed

    • Ensure accurate equipment placement in the cleanroom and subfab utilizing design packages and correct Mylar placement

    • Place tool Mylars on in the cleanroom to assist the tool install team and ensure that floor support is adequate

    • Foster working relationships with equipment install requestors (from various parts of the organization), tool install project managers, facilities engineering, rigging Support, tool install contractors, and production teams (operations, equipment ngineering/maintenance, process engineering), logistics/shipping & receiving to confirm feasibility of plans/ideas and timelines/schedules for equipment installations

 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Intake of equipment install request submissions from requestors 

  • Track submitted, in progress, and completed Production Equipment Install Project requests

  • Generate point of connection requests to facilities engineering for equipment installation

  • Assist with the final tool layout changes in the field to ensure all requirements are met when placing equipment

  • Liaison with industrial engineering, equipment engineering, operations, and tool install project management team on equipment installation timelines 

  • Day to day will be 90% field work with greater than 6 hours of standing and will require ability to lift 25+ lbs and assist in equipment movement

 

This Job is Right for You If You Have (Minimum Requirements) :

  • Associate in Science or Engineering and/or 3-5 years’ experience in semiconductor or military experience

  • 1-2 years of design reviews, planning, and execution  

  • Experience with Autocad and/or Bluebeam software

  • Experience in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, power point)

  • Have detailed understanding and hands-on experience with all facility utilities - power, gases, PVAC, PCW/DI water, exhaust, abatement, waste streams, and semiconductor equipment
