The team

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will prepare, follow and improve required processes of new and existing products.

Your future responsibilities

  • Analyzing the technical requirements for new sales proposals (sheetmetal, welded, painted components);

  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects;

  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating technical activities and problem solving;

  • Transfer of products, equipments and processes from HQ to Sibiu Plant;

  • Interact on a daily basis with different departments;

  • Cooperate and communicate with Headquarter responsible;

  • Preparing technical documentation with mechanical design software for devices and possible improvement ideas.

Your profile

  • Technical studies in the field of Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or similar studies;

  • +5 years’ experience and deep knowledge within the industrial production processes (would be an advantage for processes punching, bending, welding, painting);

    • 3 years’ experience in new project implementation and transfer;
  • Strong process mindset with Lean manufacturing experience, aiming to achieve excellence;

  • Technical understanding of documentation;

  • Align, and collaborate well with local key functions such as Technology, Sales, Quality, Production, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance and functions from Germany HQ;

  • Ability to prioritize and to work under pressure;

  • Switch between different tasks easily;

  • Working knowledge of ERP system, SAP or similar required;

  • Experience with 2D and 3D mechanical design software (ex.: Creo Elements Direct Modelling, Catia, NX, SolidEdge, etc.);

  • Advance Microsoft Office skills;

  • Good command of the English language, German would be an advantage.
