Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist in the greater Shrewsbury, Massachusetts area. This role is pivotal in coordinating various human resources operations and implementing strategies to attract and retain talent. The HR Generalist will be the main point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire recruitment process, from the initial job requisition to onboarding

• Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective job descriptions

• Source candidates through various means, including job boards, social media channels, and referrals

• Conduct interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications, and present recommendations to hiring managers

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization

• Address employee inquiries and resolve any HR-related issues in a professional and timely manner

• Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices

• Collaborate with the HR Manager in conducting local level investigations and resolving employee issues

• Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management

• Manage and maintain employees' electronic/non-electronic files and handle all employee data changes through the HRIS system

• Ensure HR operations comply with federal, state, and local employment requirements

• Support affirmative action programs and maintain current work authorizations

• Assist in the administration of Worker’s Compensation policies and procedures

• Assist in benefits open enrollment, updating necessary benefit changes into the benefit portals regularly

• Contribute to HR team projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with HRMS and About Time software

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Understanding of Compliance requirements in the HR field

• Proven experience in managing Employee Relations

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information

• Relevant certifications in Human Resources are desirable.
