Position Overview:

As a Sr Quality Control Inspector here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. You will be responsible for inspecting and testing products to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications. Your expertise in laboratory environments will help maintain the high quality of our products and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to our Quality Control Manager and you’ll work out of our Shreveport, LA location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products by conducting thorough inspections and tests using advanced laboratory techniques. Your experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma - Optical Emission Spectroscopy), and XRF (X-ray Fluorescence) will enable you to accurately analyze and evaluate product samples.

THE BUSINESS UNIT

  • The Catalyst Manufacturing Site requires 24/7 laboratory support for quality control and quality assurance.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products

  • Utilize laboratory techniques such as ICP-OES and XRF for accurate analysis and evaluation

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications

  • Identify and document any defects or non-conformities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results using LIMS

  • Work on rotating. Twelve hour shifts and cover other shifts on overtime as needed.

    Must Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control inspection in a laboratory environment

  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques

  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

    We Value

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field

  • Certification in quality control or related field

  • Experience with LIMS, ICP-OES, and XRF

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
