Minimum Qualifications

The Admissions Coordinator is an unclassified, administrative position reporting to the Assistant Director of Admissions for Undergraduate Students. The AC plays an integral role in the university’s enrollment efforts by providing quality customer service to a myriad of customers, including, but not limited to, prospective, current, and former students.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Admissions Coordinator will perform all aspects of customer service duties for the Admissions Office.

  • Provide quality customer service to various populations, including prospective, current, and former students, relating to Admissions, Recruitment, and Registration functions.

  • Process Admissions Applications by checking National Student Clearinghouse for previously attended universities and adding schools to application.

  • Pull high school transcripts from Board of Regents website and enter into CRM.

  • Process transcripts received by mail and online and route to the appropriate office.

  • Assist with general office operations for the Admissions Office under the direction of the Assistant Director of Admissions & Director of Admissions.

  • Enter in received test scores to student applications.

  • Complete admissions decisions based on Board of Regents criteria.

  • Assist staff with data entry into CRM & Student Information System.

  • Complete all purchases for the Office of Admissions.

  • Provide leadership to the student staff in the Office of Admissions.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required. The successful candidate will be a hard-working and team-oriented individual with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
