Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Shiner, Texas

Description:

The duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Tech III will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

 Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment, following all safety procedures

 Support the installation of new equipment

 Assist the machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime

 Ensure all repairs are documented in the CMMS

 Foster teamwork consistent with our company and plant Mission, Vision, and Core Values

 Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, fire systems and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses

 Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out/tag out program and hearing and eye protection policies

 Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Working on: Tubing benders, lasers, pipe plasmas, welding machines, forklift, paint booth, blasters, conveyors, CNC maintenance

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:

-2+ years of working experience as a Maintenance Tech (any industry OK)

-Mechanical experience; belts, gears, bearings, motors, VFD, sensors

-Good tenure, no jumping around

-Experience with basic electrical troubleshooting/repairs

-Fast-paced manufacturing environment, ability to tolerate a variable climate

-oilfield experience OK
