Nvidia Senior Product Quality Engineer in Shenzhen-Longhua, China

We are looking for a Product Quality Engineer to join our team leading all aspects of failure analysis for NVIDIA’s system product segment throughout the life of the product. You will greatly influence quality across the company through interactions with internal and external engineering groups. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills with a strong structured problem-solving background and proven experience in failure root cause resolution. Your hands-on failure analytical skills and strong quality mindset are essential as you will be working to drive NVIDIA System products quality improvement initiatives and programs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify and analyze customer reported technical issues for Data Center sub-system and compute modules.

  • Conduct system level, board level failure analysis on field failures to identify the root cause and provide risk assessment.

  • Interact with functional groups like engineering, manufacturing to address and resolve critical product and customer issues, provide quality improvement solution.

  • Analyze quality data to identify improvement opportunities and work with cross functional teams to implement corrective measures and defect prevention with a focus on process control and error proofing.

  • Perform data analysis to generate periodic quality report, detect subtle trends and report quality concerns.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related fields, Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Above 5 years working experience.

  • Hands-on experience in PCB level hardware verification/debug and signal integrity measurement.

  • Experience with board level schematic and PCB layout design is preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solid understanding of trouble-shooting concept including design of experiments, root cause analysis and statistical process control.

  • Familiar with Linux system and Linux Shell Scripts.

  • Knowledge of AI chips and memory devices is a plus.

  • Knowledge of quality and reliability concepts as well as manufacturing operations is a plus.

  • Good command of English in both written and spoken.

  • Good communication and documentation skills.

  • High sense of responsibility, self-motivated, good team player.
