Description

Amazon Global Selling has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globally. Today, about 60% of Amazon's total unit sales come from third-party selection. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 17 overseas marketplaces, and supporting local Sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.

The Global Selling program management office (PMO) collaborates with number Amazon’s global teams to support the high-growth global selling business, continuously identify opportunities globally and locally, and drive initiatives and innovation through design, development, launch, and post-launch management.

Now, we are seeking an experienced, talented, senior leader in the PMO to lead the scale up of our Buy with Prime (BwP) team in China. This senior leader will be a key person to shape Chinese Merchant Experience with BwP, drive BwP growth and success. To be successful in this role, you will need to be experienced in product management and development, lead a sales organization, solid in people and org development, strong influencer and effective in communication in both written and verbal to VP and SVP level, and is capable to work in a cross functional, fast-paced environment.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Lead team to understand China Merchant growth opportunities and blockers across different Merchant type on BwP.

  • Lead a team to identify product opportunities across global selling journey. Define global selling product vision, partner with global product team to improve our global solution, and drive products innovation to help sellers success globally across marketplaces.

  • Owns go to market strategy with a team of BD specialist to achieve our unit growth goals.

  • Lead a team of professionals to achieve ambitious merchant recruitment targets.

  • Owns China Merchant product requirements, gain support from internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Lead Merchant global product solution work stream, partner with local and global product team from planning to execution, and Merchant enrollment.

  • Establish strong relationship and trust with local and global stakeholders.

  • Capable to drive and conduct VP and SVP level conversation.

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • 6+ years of team management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience recruiting and developing high performing teams that deliver outsized results

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives

  • MBA
