The Amazon Private Brands Global Sourcing team is looking for customer-obsessed driven individuals to lead vendor management for new product sourcing, and drive on-going business accelerated growth for our Private Label business. The role will manage the global sourcing process from A to Z including vendor maintenance and P&L management, cost negotiation, product planning and vendor relations. product, quality, operations, supply chain and business management teams in US, EU and JP. In this role, you will actively manage WW supplier relationships to develop a strong understanding of Amazon’s end-to-end sourcing process and how our private label products come to life.

The candidate must have strong business acumen and strategic agility, and enjoy identifying defects and opportunities to design / implement long-term solution. He or she must be capable in driving business impact and deliver results under ambiguity or coping the challenges. A successful candidate will thrive in a highly collaborative, analytical, creative, and fast-paced environment. And the candidate is willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done. The ideal candidate is also expected to experience working in a global team dealing with multi-stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

· Supplier development and management toward driving P&L growth.

· Identify business optimization opportunities and drive sourcing excellence leveraging industry knowledge, re-sourcing and cost benchmarking.

· Partner with Product Managers, Supply Chain, Quality, and other stakeholder teams to develop sourcing strategy across multiple categories and launch products globally.

· Identify process improvement areas and develop scalable processes/tech solutions to address and accelerate our Private Label business.

· Drive for continual improvement and innovation across our sourcing activities, including strategic vendor management, cost engineering, portfolio optimization, value optimization etc.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve tools and productivity for vendors and sourcing teams.

· Write professional business documents for business updates and driving strategic initiatives for stakeholders alignment.

Amazon Private Brand global sourcing team partners with suppliers capable of producing and shipping high-quality products globally, with a focus on driving profitable and sustainable business growth.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with end to end product delivery
