Nvidia Materials Program Manager in Shenzhen, China

We are looking for a passionate supply chain professional! The Materials Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring operational success for the Procurement organization. In this role, you will be responsible for materials readiness, availability, and visibility with a goal that our turn-key materials never show up on the critical path.

The MPM will manage the CTB ("clear to build") process with our engineers, suppliers and CMs, ensuring that we have efficient process and clear visibility on our procurement strategy. Your successful ability to partner with CMs and the sourcing team on material strategy will directly impact our product success.

Above the CM’s materials management role, we also expect the professional can bring great value to help supply chain process optimization through data analysis and digital transformation with proven track record in the career.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Clear-to-Build (CTB) Management for NPI/ Quick Turn: provide visibility to materials supply, highlighting projected coverage and constraints. Collaborate effectively with Engineering Program Mgmt. teams to understand build requirements for new products supporting bring-up boards for validation and qualification.

  • Review and ensure the robust CM material management system and processes are in place, drive the SCAR’s for non-compliances, including site balance, safety stock and E&O mitigation strategies.

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, engineering, manufacturing, to ensure alignment on NPI material requirements and build timelines. Use data analytics to identify and address potential roadblocks or challenges.

  • Monitor BOM changes and ensure all changes are identified and loaded accurately through MRP/SAP system.

  • Prepare and communicate critical Materials availability updates to cross functional leadership teams; maintain executive reports and summaries, providing accurate and timely data to leadership on agreed cadence.

  • Analyze data and present results to help management identify key trends for decision making in a variety of domains, leveraging Power BI and other world class tools to optimize supply chain processes and improve collaboration amongst Operations team.

What we need to see:

  • 5+ years of experience with world-class EMS industry supply chain processes is a must.

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or engineering (or relevant work experience).

  • Ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data.

  • Advanced modeling and predictive analytical skills; "Advanced User" of MS Excel with deep understanding of Excel techniques.

  • Experience with statistical analysis, data visualization and digital transformation is a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including good English command with the ability to present to management required.
