Objectives:

In this role within New Business Development - Functional Coatings (EC/IBH), you will lead the business development for the "Toys" market segment. You will oversee a global team with interdisciplinary responsibilities, focusing on development, project management, and sales

Main Tasks:

  • Include continuing existing projects with toy brands and their production partners, transitioning their production to our sustainable coating system

  • Establish close and trusting business relationships at all levels, from management to product users.

  • Establish new contacts with relevant market participants, initiate joint projects, and explore business opportunities.

  • Develop further offerings for the toy industry in areas such as automation, digitization, and sustainability, in addition to the conversion of solvent-based to water-based solutions, including their application processes

  • Develop concepts for the future organization and supply chain required for global business development and implement them independently

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration or business chemistry (or a related field such as chemistry with market experience)

  • 5 -8 years project management

  • At least 2 years‘ leadership experience

  • Network in the toys industry

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. An understanding of business development requirements.

  • Strong conceptual abilities and the ability to drive implementation.

  • High proficiency in English and Mandarin required

  • Ability to travel regularly
