SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

• Responsible for dealer sales training and joint sales call efforts to end users to secure new business for Hurst Jaws of Life and Akron Brass products, and/or any other products the company may introduce under the IDEX Fire & Safety umbrella.

• Responsible for the promotion and support of all IDEX Fire & Safety assigned products, which may include end user training, end user problem resolution, and or trade show or training event support.

• Responsible for sales planning and territory strategy creation and documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must serve as regional sales manager and Rescue Specialist and Akron Brass Field Specialist to promote IDEX Fire & Safety Products to end users and dealers in person, in the assigned western territory but also nationally as assigned.

• Supports the Hurst National Service Manager with repair and maintenance service training in the 13 western US States.

• Conducts service training classes for distributors, and end-users as assigned by National Service Manager.

• Collect and report on a regular monthly basis all sales opportunities in the company database, SalesForce.

• Manage and stay within an assigned travel budget.

• Manage and publicly post work and travel schedule on an ongoing basis

• Conduct service, repair and maintenance training in various locations around the country, as assigned by the National Service Manager

• Support various first responder field events with sales, training, and/or service support at fire schools and/or other venues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2 year college degree or equivalent

• First Responder experience preferred but not required

• Minimum 4 years of first responder product sales experience

• Minimum 4 years distributor technical service background

• Minimum 4 years of experience in rescue hydraulics repair

• Knowledge of hydraulic rescue tools, pneumatic rescue products, and fire suppression waterflow products and electronics
