Farmworkers needed to package blue berries, apples, sweet cherries, and tart cherry. Duties may include, perform, and monitor activities associated with correct dispensing of raw materials for daily production, assisting with loading of apples and removal of empty boxes from the dump tank. Sort product as it crosses over sort belt for quality control: looking for defects by utilizing electronic sorting equipment, assist with changeovers to ensure no cross contamination. Communicate with other operators or supervisors in case of a defect, properly clean and sanitize machinery, utensils, equipment used to process/store produce, handle cleaning chemicals, support machines: setting up, adjusting, and operating various machines and equipment to ensure quality product is shipped per product orders and customer requirements, support receiving department by maintaining wooden boxes, receiving and verifying loads on delivery trucks, grade and pressure test product and take daily inventory and other related Fruit Packer activities. Work will be done in Oceana County, MI.

Work schedule is generally 36 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Additional hours may be offered but not required.
