Plaskolite is formerly known as Sheffield Plastics WAGE: HOURLY WORK HOURS: FULL-TIME, 12 HOUR SHIFT SIGN ON BONUS: \$2,000 - Paid throughout the first year of hire JOB SPECIFICATIONS: - Must be able to stand for long periods of time - Must have High School diploma or GED - Ability to work 12 hour shifts in a routine schedule including Saturdays and Sundays - Willingness to work overtime when necessary or required JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to make quality sheet to satisfy customer needs through training and experience. The position will support machine tolerances, specifications, materials, and conduct all operations in a timely manner. In addition, this position will monitor machine quality, neatness, inspection and more. ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Reading shop orders. - Following and documenting quality specifications. - Complete lift truck training and demonstrate safe driving. - Counting, stacking, labeling and packaging of finished goods. - Participating in proper shift handoffs. - Adhering to job safety requirements. - Completing safety orientations. - The operation of choppers, belt tables, lift tables, sheet counters, and packaging tools. - Reporting of any injury or incident. - Participating in processes to improve efficiencies. - Active participation in manufacturing activities. - All other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Sitting: To the extent that operator is required to drive a forklift - Standing/Walking: 10-12 hours alternating between standing and walking
