Job Title: Bakery Department Manager

Availability: Morning, Afternoon, Evenings and Weekends

Schedule: Full Time

Reports To: Store Director

Festival Foods is seeking motivated leaders who are passionate about guest service (at Festival-our customers are our guests!), delivering results and who really know how to keep things fun! It is the mission of our Bakery Department to improve the breakfast, lunch and dinner tables of our guests by providing a wide variety of delicious meal options. This is a great leadership opportunity for a retail or fresh food service professional looking for career progression within a growing company!

As a Bakery Department Manager You Will:

  • Manage, lead and reinforce Festival’s culture through servant leadership.

  • Contribute to store sales and profitability by effectively managing all aspects of Bakery operations to include (but not limited to): labor, accurate pricing, stock levels, merchandising, and exceptional guest service.

  • Develop associates by supporting professional goals and objectives.

  • Safeguard our exceptional standard for department organization and sanitation.

  • Additional duties as assigned!

    What it takes:

  • Ability to support and promote Festivals values for diversity and inclusion.

  • 5+ of leadership experience (at least 2 years as manager) – grocery/retail or restaurant preferred.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication with team, leaders and guests.

  • WI Certified Food Manager License (Not certified yet? Let’s still chat!).

  • Ability to solve problems collaboratively, listen generously and celebrate success!

    What you can expect:

  • Fast-paced work in varying temperature conditions – including coolers, kitchens, freezers and on the sales floor.

  • Flexible schedules to include morning, afternoon and evening shifts during week day, weekends.
