CACI has an exciting and immediate opportunity for a Web-Based Application Programmer/Developer to support the USAF Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). These positions work at the customer on-site Tier 3 support location at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.

Shaw AFB is conveniently located. A 2-hour drive to the north gets you to Charlotte, NC, to the east is Myrtle Beach, and Charleston, SC is to the south. You’ll have access to big city excitement, a quiet beach walk or small-town Southern hospitality.

You’ll get to use leading edge technology as you sustain and defend the networks our Air Force warfighters use in the CENTCOM theater. More About the Role

In this role you will:

  • Manage local and remote web servers; coordinate the mirroring of remote webs with a central mirrored site.

  • Develop web pages and middleware applications using all versions of Hypertext Markup Language, and other server and client-side languages.

  • Use .NET ASPX Pages, C#, Java, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, PowerShell, SharePoint API compiled languages such as C++, and Open Database Control (ODBC) programming to access various ODBC sources and third-party software.

  • Optimize new and existing code for WAN performance.

  • Integrate graphics, charts, and custom art into web sites to provide maximum impact of content delivery.

  • Understand and apply AFI and DOD guidance on web development.

  • Write and update concept of operations for web policy and implementation.

  • Develop and manage training on materials, web pages, programming languages and third-party web applications.

  • Manage work and project tasks of other development contractors.

  • Review technical project documentation for final draft coordination and subsequent release.

  • Assist personnel with project documentation and web site development as needed.

  • Develop globally accessible applications utilizing the latest web technologies focused on remote network management to provide help desk solutions for supporting deployed locations.

  • Develop and provide training support on web page development, content development, and maintenance.

  • Maintain Microsoft based web servers to include backups, disaster recovery, installation, troubleshooting, and data transfer. Web servers include the use of Microsoft SharePoint services (SPS) and SPS Portal servers.

  • Use security toolset to determine web server security weaknesses and shortfalls. Apply security patches and validate compliance with security guidance.

You will also be required to:

  • Provide oral and written briefs, presentations, and professional reports to Government senior leaders and decision makers.

  • Provide on-call support after hours, on weekends and holidays.

  • Deploy/travel to OCONUS locations in the USCENTCOM AOR to support operations, projects, and training as required (up to 25%).

  • Travel to CONUS locations as required.

You’ll Bring These Qualification:

  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start date.

  • Associates in related field and 3 or more years’ relevant experience; OR 5 or more years of relevant experience.

  • Relevant experience

  • Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding of Microsoft server installation, roles, active directory, storage, performance management, and maintenance.

  • Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding with C# and XAML, visual studio 2015, arrays and collections, working with variables, managing program flow, asynchronous programming, decision an iteration statements, experience\with the full life cycle of web applications, designing asynchronous solutions, working with classes and methods, and data validation.

  • Must have actual C++, C#, or SharePoint development experience.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in software development

  • DoD 8570 IAT II Baseline Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).

  • Completion of additional Professional Certifications.

  • ITIL Foundation within 60 days of start date
