The VP of EHS, Regulatory and Quality plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization prioritizes the health and safety of its employees and the environment, operates in compliance with regulations, maintains high standards of quality. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership and Strategy * Maintain effective EHS, Quality and Product Compliance programs to for a global network of facilities. * Keep the organization informed of performance, improvement needs, and risks in these areas. * Develop and implement strategic plans for EHS, Product Compliance, and Quality management. * Provide leadership and guidance to the EHS, Product Compliance, and Quality teams. Regulatory Compliance * Track developments in relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to the specialty chemical industry. * Ensure that the company's Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), product labels, shipping papers and other compliance documents are accurate and compliant, and meet the needs of our customers. * Maintain a Registered Product Compliance program to meet the requirements for the company's products and applications. * Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state, national, and international regulatory requirements. * Develop and implement policies and procedures to address regulatory compliance. Environmental Management * Oversee environmental programs to ensure the organization's activities align with environmental standards and regulations. * Lead continuous improvement in Sustainability / Environmental - Social - Governance. * Implement initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of the organization's operations. Health and Safety Management * Develop and implement health and safety programs to create a safe working environment. * Monitor and enforce safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Quality Management: * Implement and maintain a quality management system. * Ensure products and processes meet quality standards and regulations. * Lead efforts for continuous improvement in quality processes. Risk Management: * Identify and assess risks related to EHS and quality. * Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Communication and Reporting: * Communicate EHS, Product Compliance, and Auality performance to senior management and stakeholders. * Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required. Collaboration: * Collaborate with other departments to integrate EHS and quality considerations into overall business operations. * Work with cross-functional teams to address issues and drive improvements. Training and Development: * Provide training to employees on EHS and quality policies and procedures. * Foster a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and quality within the organization. Budget Management * Develop and manage budgets related to EHS, Product Compliance, and Quality Department operating costs.
