We are seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to join our team at our program in Sharon Hill, PA. Earn $18.91/hour or $20.91/hour with the selection of the enhanced pay option. Position Details The certified peer specialist provides direct care to those in recovery of their mental illness. In doing so, they develop recovery goals to assist the individuals in areas that they are in need.  Each individual CPS will communicate, document and review cases with supervisors about the clients that they serve, and each CPS will work 1:1 with individuals on service planning and goal completion. Work within the CRR Residential program. Assist clients with completing their WRAP Safety Plan. General Responsibilities: Works in a collaborative manner Attends all clinical in-service and other trainings as required by agency, payor or licensure body, which may include, but is not limited to MBH, OBH or OMHSAS. Understands and adheres to Merakey policies and procedures. Attends all regular and mandatory meetings Attends and fully engages in weekly individual and/or group supervision meetings with Supervisor and Program Director Provides timely, accurate documentation of all services rendered by submitting accurate, legible required paperwork per agency and payer guidelines. Communicates with members, their families or identified supports, per member approval. Participates in all Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities. Maintain credentials and continuing education as required. Maintains weekly/monthly productivity targets. Requirements

Qualifications: A minimum High School diploma or GED. Must be a Certified Peer Specialist having met the qualifications and completed the CPS training. Must be Certified by the Pennsylvania Certification Board within 6 months of start date. Must demonstrate a personal belief in recovery and engage with peers based on that person's needs. Must have lived experience. Ability to travel with consumers by public transportation. ( Must have a valid driver's license and a clean record). Must be willing and able to work flexible hours. Demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing. Ability to work independently and part of a team.
