Job Summary:

As a Route Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our delivery drivers in efficiently and effectively navigating their assigned routes. You will work closely with the drivers to ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

 

    Assist delivery drivers in plotting the most efficient routes for their deliveries.

 

    Keep track of delivery schedules and adjust routes as needed.

 

    Communicate with drivers and provide directions or guidance as needed.

 

    Monitor traffic conditions and provide updates to drivers to help avoid delays.

 

    Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles as needed.

 

    Maintain accurate records of delivery times, route changes, and any customer feedback.

 

    Provide excellent customer service and address any delivery-related issues or concerns.

 

    Perform all other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

    High school diploma or equivalent.

 

    Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

 

    Strong communication and organizational skills.

 

    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

 

    Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns.

 

    Ability to work well under pressure and handle unforeseen circumstances.
