Meta Supplier Quality Engineer - Display and Optics in Shanghai, China

Summary:

Supplier Quality Engineer - Display and Optics Location: Taipei, TW In this role, you will take the responsibility to make sure the products quality purchased from suppliers can meet the requirements defined by Meta. You shall have the expertise in terms of Display/Optics/Semiconductor manufacturing process, Testing and quality control. You will also take the responsibility to make sure the Display and Optics Module assembly and testing process can meet the requirements defined by Meta in the contract manufacturer site in development stage and drive the continuous improvement in the mass production stage.

Required Skills:

Supplier Quality Engineer - Display and Optics Responsibilities:

  1. Working with Display and Optics Engineering team and Strategic Sourcing team on the vendors selection

  2. Risk assessment and qualification for both product and process of Display module and its components suppliers and also subassembly level manufacturer

  3. Quality plan definition, alignment and execution for the suppliers and subassembly level manufacturer which includes PFMEA, control plan, CTQ processes, correlated inspection and testing between suppliers and subassembly level manufacturer, reliability qualification and monitoring plan, quality reporting, traceability etc.

  4. Working with the engineering team on process development for display and optics modules and their components level part in the development stages

  5. Working with the engineering team to initiate and define display and optics modules cosmetic inspection method and acceptance criteria

  6. Process audit and monitoring display and Optics modules, and their components level part manufacturer for risk assessment and improvement

  7. Leading for quality problem solving and yield improvement for the display and optics modules and their components level part

  8. Proactive quality monitoring system setup for the purchased display and optics modules and components level part in supplier factory

  9. Review and approval of the display and optics modules and their components level part shipping condition and package design validation

  10. Review and Setup measurement SOP and do alignment in the supply chain

  11. Can accept fluent domestic and oversea travel (Up to 50%) under high pressure

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Science or Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

  2. Proven experiences on handling different display and optics technologies

  3. 8+ years of hands-on working experience in the high volume consumer electronics industry

  4. Experience working with display and optics related process and quality control

  5. Understanding of clean room management, ESD, MSD control

  6. Familiar with DFM (design for manufacture), DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC and sampling plan definition

  1. Experiences on camera Lens, wafer and semiconductor processes

  2. Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt
