Edge + Platform Team works on bringing the best of Azure technologies to Edge datacenters. As a part of the team, you will be working on exciting technologies with massive exposure to distributed and cloud computing.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, who is responsible for conducting research and development to deliver services running in Edge and Cloud environments. This includes playing a key role in building services to empower external customers and internal teams using Azure technologies and Large Language Models. Key responsibilities may include designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to distributed and cloud computing.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 5+ years of shipping enterprise scale software in a software engineering-related role.

  • Experience in building testable, distributed and highly scalable online services on Azure or similar cloud platform.

  • Solid understanding of software development processes with quality focus.

  • In-depth knowledge of distributed systems and programming languages like Python, Go and C#.

  • Requires a Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, Math, related field or equivalent experience .

  • A team player. Committed to making pragmatic decisions. 

Desired skills

  • Experience in projects using Large Language Model.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and communicate effectively. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills .

  • Passion for quality with strong customer empathy and focus .
