Nvidia Senior Planning and Control Integration Engineer – Autonomous Vehicles in Shanghai, China

We are looking for a Senior Planning and Control Integration Engineer to join our team. As part of the NVIDIA DRIVE AV Solution (NDAS) team, you will drive the stack’s evolution through effective PnC DevOps in CN. As the S.W.A.T. team, we handle challenges from the whole stack. We believe your outstanding talent is vital for us to realize our vision: Building a ground breaking autonomous vehicle solution for China on NVIDIA's world leading accelerated computing ecosystem.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Master state-of-art development process through active contribution to sub-modules.

  • Develop an architecture overview through active learning of main ideas behind sub-modules and their inter-connectivity.

  • Lead the prototyping, bring-up, integration and validation in CN.

  • Identify improvements through drive data analytics, down-to-source-code root cause analysis and structured road tests.

  • Communicate the defect, prioritize the improvement and coordinate the solution together within our ONE team.

  • Ensure continuous improvement of the productization process through cross tech stack development.

    What We Need to See:

  • BS/MS or higher in robotics, EECS or other related fields or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of proven experience.

  • A strong analytical approach plus the hands-on ability to work on ADAS projects with confidence.

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.

  • Good at storytelling with concrete data.

    Ways to Stand Out:

  • Cross-submodule planning and control knowledge / experience.

  • A fast & active learner in autonomous driving and software engineering.

  • An engineering mentality: Able to formulate the requirement from the above process as an engineering problem then address it through software development.

  • Extra tech stacks besides C++: Have proven experience or a strong passion for, Cloud native diagnosis toolchain dev. in TypeScript and Drive scenario mining and drive experience evaluation in Python.
