Philips Senior Manager Internal Audit - Quality in Shanghai, China

In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Protect the integrity of Philips’s global assets. You assure planned value creation by providing value-added independent assessments of Philips’ strategic, operational, compliance, and financial risks and activities as part of the Philips Business System.

You deliver trusted and impactful advice and direction to the business.

You are responsible for

  • High impact audit reviews addressing Philips risks.

  • Lead and participate in audit reviews addressing strategic or business risks of Philips. The complexity of the reviews and impact on the business will increase during your time with Philips Internal Audit. The reviews will be prepared, executed, and reported in line with world-class audit standards.

  • Ensure highly effective stakeholder management, with regular communication towards key business and functional leaders

  • Establish risk profiles for sectors or business groups/units through participation in risk workshops.

  • Ensure the team is up to date with knowledge of the functionality and options available in Philips Learning Management Systems and other learning technology platforms.

You are a part of

  • A global Audit team, with around 40-50 colleges globally. Report to Head of Internal Audit Asia Based in Shanghai

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 10+ years of proven and successful track record in domain areas such as Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Regulatory Affairs for a medical device company or highly regulated industries with particular understanding of regulator expectations for QMS regulated activities.

  • You have excellent leadership skills, as you will serve as audit lead if audit is within your domain of expertise. Therefore, you have the ability to lead and manage the reviews we execute.

  • Acting towards the business you can work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment as well as think through complex challenges to help stakeholders address risks.

  • Management and strong leadership skills in a challenging working environment with strong stakeholder management skills

  • You have a clear understanding of audit execution and have led or participated in quality audits.

  • Previous audit experience is not required if with high potential to grow fast.

  • Good English and Chinese Language skills are required, candidate with overseas work/living experience is a plus.

  • Up to 25% travel
