Senior EHS Engineer

What you will do:

  • Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure site facilities and activities/operations full compliance with safety law & regulation requirements

    • Be familiar with relevant DG chemical & precursor chemical regulation and ensure full compliance with the regulation.

    • Be responsible to apply, obtain and maintain relevant EHS license, permit and certificate including DG production license, emission license, safety production standardization certificate, project related license/permit & acceptance.

    • Coordinate with local authority for site EHS inspection and actions tracking and submit corrective report • Coordinate regular safety related monitoring /test based on regulation required

    • Manage and report safety expense and cost to meet regulation requirement

    • Work with site leadership to help them identify compliance gaps and provide solutions

  • EHS operation:

    • Conduct EHS risk identification and analysis including JSA, risk assessment for contractor activities, PTW review

    • Establish and effective and sustainable EHS training program that allows for the proactive tracking and reporting of training compliance for FX site employees and contractors, visitors

    • Daily inspection for site and activities, ensure no potential EHS issues.

    • Responsible for emergency response management including develop and renew emergency response procedures , setting up ERT and deliver training and conduct emergency drills.

    • Responsible for relevant EHS internal and external reports.

    • Ensure all accidents, incidents and learning events ae entered in Enablon system ensuring timely investigation and closure.

    • As EHS expert, provide supports & advice for site activity or project implementations and lead MOC process and risk assessment for projects.

    • Effectively manage all subcontract service contracts related to EHS facility and consultant

    • Develop and execute plans for continuous and sustainable improvement in EHS performance focusing on best practices, corporate policies and the business performance.

    • Develop and communicate key performance indicators for EHS related performance (leading and lagging)

    • Review/monitor EHS performance, identify trends, and formulate improvement plans.

  • EHS management system:

    • Plan, develop and manage qualified safety management system

    • Ensures accurate record keeping of files required for management system

    • Ensure all audit findings/actions are properly tracked and closed on time.

    • Work with EHS specialist for coordinating internal and external audit of ISO 14001 & 45001

  • EHS facility maintenance:

    • Plan, coordinate subcontractor for safety & environment facility and give advice to facility team on EHS related facility maintenance.

    • Be familiar with FM requirements, implement necessary corrective & preventive actions to ensure compliance to FM requirements for building and facility. • Conduct contractor training, site supervision for contractor working.

    • Lead MOC process for facility changes.

  • Others:

    • Improve safety culture working with the site leadership team

    • Lead safety month activities

    • Be coordinator for crisis management

    • Other activities on EHS improvements
