Amazon Global Logistics in China is a team of highly experienced logistics professionals, product & program manager and carrier specialists actively participating in Amazon's international expansion goals. We are seeking some highly motivated individuals who are interested in providing best-in-class logistics service to customers as global logistics operation specialist.

The main purpose and responsibilities is to act as control tower on end to end global logistics operation process by focusing on process, procedure and data relevant activities with the aim to standardize process, improve operation efficiency and service quality.

  • Manage internal operational system configuration to support daily operation and operational data analysis to accommodate business requirements

  • Develop and control operation KPI metrics and planning data, especially space usage and downfall analysis, cancellation with reason code analysis & SO release timeliness;

  • Drive and optimize end to end operation service quality to make sure all the planned shipments are arranged according to system planning result and record exceptions;

  • Manage daily operations issue escalations about demands fluctuation, carrier/FC capacity adjustment, vessel schedule change with carrier management, sales , forecasting and destination Ops to fulfill booking requirements;

  • Co-work with internal function partners in origin Ops, destination Ops, LSP, sales, tech and products for new planning programs/features development and upgrade

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of supply chain experience

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in MS Access and SQL

  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

  • Experience in program or project management
