Amazon Global Logistics in China is a team of highly experienced logistics professionals, product & program manager and carrier specialists actively participating in Amazon's international expansion goals. We are seeking some highly motivated individuals who are interested in providing best-in-class logistics service to customers as global logistics operation specialist.

The main purpose and responsibilities is to act as control tower on end to end global logistics operation process by focusing on process, procedure and data relevant activities with the aim to standardize process, improve operation efficiency and service quality.

• Manage FBA booking demand planning within all the business assumptions and guidance. Closely monitor demand fluctuation and trigger alert to demand shaping on different arc and sort type level. Call out supply shortage on monthly level when necessary before execution starts.

• Manage internal operational system configuration to support daily operation and operational data analysis to accommodate business requirements;

• Drive and optimize end to end operation service quality to make sure all the planned shipments are arranged according to system planning result and record exceptions;

• Develop and control operation KPI metrics and planning data for both FCL and LCL, especially space usage and downfall analysis, cancellation with reason code analysis;

• Drive Operator performance improvement and seller behavior together with relevant Ops team;

• Manage daily operations issue escalations about demands fluctuation, carrier/FC capacity adjustment, vessel schedule change with Ocean Ops, Origin Logistic, sales, forecasting and destination Ops to fulfill booking requirements;

• Co-work with internal function partners in origin Ops, destination Ops, LSP, sales, tech and products for new planning programs/features development and upgrade;

• Internal and external training and SOP management.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience

  • 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 5+ years of supply chain experience

  • 5+ years of leading large complex programs experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.

  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certificate

  • Experience of Six Sigma/ Lean analytical techniques

  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document, together with fluent oral English
