Purpose of the position

Quality Engineer shall control manufacturing process quality. Quality Engineer analyze and solve product quality problems and defects in the manufacturing process

Main tasks and responsibilities

  1. Responsible for monitoring and evaluating product manufacturing processes and to ensure compliance with quality requirement

  2. Control product assembly quality. Check components assembly; painting; packing; testing quality;

  3. Participate in the improvement and optimization of production processes and continue to improve performance;

  4. Work closely with various different departments and teams to ensure quality meet expectations;

  5. Responsible for internal/external customers’ quality complaints and issue action plans including Andon supporting, NCR & Claim handling, PRI (Product Receptance Inspection) feedback improving. As a cross-functional team leader to solve the problem through the related quality tools.

  6. Perform sample inspection and assist suppliers with quality/inspection advice and help when needed.

  7. Assist in formulating and implementing IMS management systems and processes, raising awareness and strengthening the execution of Q&EHS control work;

8.Manageand maintain quality control tools, including measurement and testing equipment, documentation, etc.;

  1. Other tasks assigned by QEHS manager.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education

  • College or above graduation, majored in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in heavy industry that focus on engineering assembling, port machinery or AUTO experience is preferred.

  • Proficient drawing and testing for production parts.Understand assembly workmanship and product testing.

  • Understand the knowledge related manufacturing process for heavy industry.

  • The experience of inspection, process quality management and supplier management is preferred.

  • Received standard training on the basis of ISO9001, IATF16949 and understood relevant knowledge. (ISO45001 training is a plus.)

Skills

  • Good in communication and time management.

  • Proficient ISO 9001 quality system, skillful in quality tools.

  • TS16949 experience is preferred, be familiar with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, TQM.

  • Skillful in using different kinds of gauges.

  • Good teamwork.

  • Fluent in written & oral English.

  • PC skills "office 365", CAD etc.,
