Emerson Project Manager in Shanghai, China

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the project: incl. balancing the triangle (on spec, on time, on budget) and project risk management.

  • Project Portfolio Management: Manage and to be responsible for customer and catalog projects for new product developments.

  • Storyteller: Transparent and review oriented preparation and presentation of gate results alternative scenarios, proposals, and escalation.

  • Communicator and translator: Act as an active interface between project teams and stakeholders and present the project decision templates to the Decision Review based on the expertise of the project team and control the next project steps through targeted communication.

  • Promote the solidarity feeling, the communication and the motivation within and outside of the project teams.

  • Work closely with different areas and departments such as Engineering, Product Marketing and Operations.

  • Actively contribute to the international cooperation of project managers to learn from one another and continuously improve project management methods.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years of traceable scientific, professional experiences in an industrial company and experience in project management would be a must.

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in either business or technical major.

  • Effective communicate skill, and able to act in a focused manner and ability to deal with complex issues.

  • Experienced on dealing with colleagues from other areas in a local and international context.

  • Can work independently and as a team.

  • Business fluent English skills is a must.
