Description

  • Identify purchasing needs.

  • Research potential vendors

  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

  • Fulfill the export clearance process, prepare export docs, supporting docs, and destination required docs etc.

  • Update internal databases with order/quotation/sample etc. details

  • Conduct market research to identify pricing trends

  • Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices

  • Prepare cost analyses, and weekly, monthly order tracking reports

  • Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts

  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders

  • Liaise with logistics staff to ensure all products can be export timely, and arrive in good condition.

  • Facilitate for formulation, tolling process and package purchase, label printing if applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above in Agrochemicals/Chemicals/International Trade/ Logistics etc.

  • Solid experience in international trading (including INCOTERMS and documentation)

  • Well-developed oral and written knowledge of English language.

  • Working knowledge of Incoterms, export & import process

  • Dangerous cargo/special chemical operation experience should be the must

  • 2 years+ working experience for a multi-national manufacturing/ company

  • Excellent contract development skills, contract management and negotiation skills.

  • Minimum 2 years practical experience in purchase, logistics or order execution

  • Experience in agrochemicals and chemicals production plant is a plus
