Nvidia Principal Classical Prediction Engineer – Autonomous Vehicles in Shanghai, China

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous classical prediction engineer to join our autonomous driving team. In this role, you will focus on the development and implementation of classical prediction algorithms, such as numerical optimization and traditional algorithms, to enhance the safety and efficiency of our autonomous vehicle systems. Your expertise in mass productization and algorithmic optimization will be crucial in advancing our automotive products to the next level.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and implement classical prediction algorithms for various scenarios of autonomous driving.

  • Collaborate with the machine learning team to integrate classical prediction methods with deep learning models.

  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of prediction algorithms against diverse datasets and in simulated environments.

  • You will design, run, and analyze experiments to evaluate the efficiency of our solutions on real-world data.

    What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on numerical optimization, algorithm design, or a similar area.

  • 12 + years of experience in developing and implementing classical prediction algorithms in the real-world for mass productization.

  • Excellent understanding of data structure, multi-thread programming, Linux programming, and C++ programming.

  • Solid software engineering experience, developing for large and complex systems.

  • Solid understanding of the classical planning algorithms, numerical optimization techniques, and their application in autonomous systems.

  • Self-motivation combined with team spirit and the urge to learn new things and tackle hard problems.
