And for heavy construction and demolition, our family of powerful mounted and handheld hydraulic products are the undisputed leader in rebuilding infrastructure.As the Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for managing HR activities while supporting the business growth including developing and implementing a full range of human resources programs while providing leadership in the implementation of various strategic and operational human resource initiatives. They will ensure the linkage of HR strategies with business objectives while being responsible for assuring that HR programs, policies and activities are developed and delivered in an effective and timely manner. This includes but is not limited to, employee relations, leave management, performance management and recruiting.Specifically, you will:

  • Provide the full range of day-to-day HR support for the commercial team, including staffing, employee relations, performance management, organizational development/continuous improvement, benefits, compensation and training & development.

  • Manage all employees relations. Coach and counsel employees and managers in addressing interpersonal and behavioral challenges.

  • Assist in the interpretation and application of company policies through effective guidance for managers and employees, ensuring compliance with local labor requirements/ regulations.

  • Work with recruiting resource to ensure efficient staffing of open positions. This will require use of Workday, our electronic recruiting solution.

  • Lead performance management and compensation processes.

  • Manage benefits program locally, assisting with benefits-related questions.

  • Influence decision-making with leaders and key business partners

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in internal processes and makes constructive suggestions for change.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • 5 - 10 years of progressive HR experience to include leadership

  • Working knowledge of employment law and industry best practices.

  • Capable of influencing business leaders to drive HR initiatives.

  • Proven track record of building strong relationships vertically and horizontally within an organization.

  • Good communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Results oriented mindset with ability to prioritize and complete projects.

  • Self-motivated individual with the desire to succeed and motivate others

  • Must be professional and customer focused

  • Ability to manage confidentiality at all levels

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Workday software experience (preferred)
