Job Description

Contribute to the strategy of seeding the correct brand message across the global organization, dealerships, media outlets, agencies, etc.

  • Ensure that all creative marketing materials adhere to strict brand guidelines.

  • Conduct market research and analyze data to gain marketing insights and uncover key consumer insights and competitive opportunities.

  • Lead the development of creative marketing campaigns for various GM products including vehicles, accessories, parts, services, etc.

  • Handle external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns.

  • Manage the creation and portfolio of corporate creative content.

  • Build and maintain relationships both internally and externally i.e.; CRM, agencies, GM partners, etc.

  • Develop a team or GM staff and/or agency staff.

  • Mentor, develop, and coach talent.

  • Undertake related tasks as assigned.

Additional Job Description

Major Purpose of the position:

This position has responsibility to ensure the successful planning, implementation and operation of all social media matrix and media buy activities of GM’s premium luxury import business. It is created to develop a sound understanding of luxury experiences in GM China and the execution of such in the market.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage social media matrix & touch points

  • Creativity about content strategy incl. PGC, UGC and MCN cooperation to maximize exposure

  • Plan and implement media buy reach and frequency to generate leads from various channels

  • Drive holistic integration incl. design, plan and carry out online campaigns, and measure the performance through web analytics tools

  • Analyze and interpret internal & external data (business, consumer, partners, competitors etc.) in order to identify trends and insights, develop the system for performance measures of social marketing and leads generation

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven relevant marketing experience in Auto & FMCG industry

  • Native understanding of digital ecosystems and customer journey

  • Intimate understanding of luxury business, luxury lifestyles and high net worth customers

  • Solid online campaign project operation for generate buzzle or / and leads

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a start-up environment where personal initiative and independence is paramount for success

  • Ability to concept new processes that disrupt conventional practices

  • Exceptional personal communication skills in dealing with highly successful and influential customers

  • Restless self-motivator

  • Results driven
