VF Corporation Manager, Agile Inventory in Shanghai, China

Role & Responsibilities:

Job Definition (Key Purpose of the Job):

This position needs to manage Omnichannel (incl DTC Ecommerce, Retail and key China partners’ inventory strategy and tactics rebalance operation, agile inventory(O2O) executions in China marketplace. It requires agility in allocating, sharing and rebalancing inventory to quickly respond to consumer needs. The roles need to have deep understanding in the tools and systems (SAP, Ali Mid-end and any new adoption), and fully leverage them to support business needs. In the day-to-day business, the role needs to have close connection with VF project team, Omni-channel team, supply chain operation, DT (Digital & Technology) team to ensure good partnership for enhancing The North Face agile inventory agility.

Key Result Areas:

• Lead O2O project on business side, keep good connection with DT, DTC EC, B&M Sales operation team, to get alignment on O2O strategy and necessary technical supports, expand agile inventory projects on business side to involve more DTP (wholesale) partners into O2O platform.

• Lead Omnichannel inventory plan via aligning CN EC channel allocation among all digital platforms, to hit sales plan, optimize inventory efficiency accordingly.

• Plan and execute inventory readiness for EC mega events and fully leverage omni-channel resources in creative ways to guarantee the best available inventory for success, guide and ensure teammate’s EC inventory rebalancing among platforms, EC inventory return post mega events to achieve good ST across channels.

• Develop comprehensive O2O analysis to fine tune the O2O strategy and maximize the O2O contribution to the business during in-season inventory management.

• Build strategic work relationship bridge inside cross functional teams onwards brand success, esp. EC sales operations, 3rd partner TP, supply chain, DT team operation, central buying team, planning and analysis team, etc.

• Build a successful team, coaching and growing teammate on mindset and skillset to support omni-business

Minimum Supervisory Experience: 2 Years

Nature of Work: Demand planning or inventory management in Sport/Retail/FMCG

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in: Mandarin / English
