Tasks and responsibilities:

Fully responsible for the customs affairs in Innomotics China.

Are the main contact and interface to the country’s CEOs/CFOs and to the global Customs headquarters and report regularly to them. (please change reporting line according to actual your organization setup)

Are the responsible contact for all plants and locations within the assigned countries for Innomotics. Establish, support, and have regular communication with Customs associates of the assigned countries.

Develop and implement the Company's customs compliance strategy to ensure that the company's operations in domestic and international markets comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policy requirements.

Keep abreast of changes in relevant policies and regulations and ensure that the company responds and adjusts its customs and compliance strategy accordingly.

Provide the company with advice on risk assessment and management to protect the company's interests and reputation.

Realize and control standardized Customs clearance processes for import and export procedures according to regulations of Chinese Customs.Keep Siemens legal and compliant in the process of Customs clearance. And ensure a correct and efficient execution to shorten lead time of Customs clearance.

Creation of training-conception and -program based on Siemens company internal and legal requirements to cultivate general sense of customs compliance requirements.

Implement, enforcement and control of Customs-related global, regional, and national functionalities (incl. related change requests) within local IT-systems, ensuring full, correct and compliant system master data.

Prepare and drive the different security in the supply chain program certifications (e.g. AEO) at the respective authorities and are responsible for maintaining them.

Evaluate, establish and/or manage customs third party providers, e.g. supplier of customs IT tool, customers brokers, and provide guidance on third party providers.

Evaluate and implement processes to support regulatory requirements associated with duty minimizing programs.

Coordination and representation of Siemens interests at Customs and other Government Authorities. Establish and maintain good working relationships with government departments and regulatory authorities.

Expected experiences and skills:

1) Be familiar with the relative laws, regulations and processes of Customs of China.

2) Good communication skills include working and coaching with the colleagues in different locations. Well communicate the new regulations to the internal/external stakeholders to ensure the well implementation of them.

3) Experienced in working with both trading and production business.

4) Experienced in risk management especially when there is urgent cases e.g, Customs audit, Ad-hoc checking, new regulations…

5) Always adapt the mindset of CIP (Continuously Improvement) in the process and operation.

6) Experienced with AEO application as well as maintaining is a plus.

7) Fluently in English in both speaking and writing.

Expected education:

1) Bachelor's degree (or above) in Global Trading, Commercial related.
