Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities:

  • Design of elevator system architecture and master wiring diagram.

  • Design of elevator system integration like key components(controller, drive) integration and new feature extension.

  • Develop and execute the test plan.

  • Documentation of engineering works according to Otis product development process. (e.g.: requirement, drawings, test reports, user’s manuals etc.)

  • Be capable of solving electrical system problem in lab, test tower and jobsites.

  • Coordinate with other function to ensure program success.

  • Perform other duties as assigned and requested.

Accountability & measures:

  • Correct and efficient performance of the tasks with sense of ownership.

  • Complete the job on target with respect to quality, time, and cost.

  • Support others to achieve departmental work objectives.

  • Self-motivated for continuous improvement of product and personal skills to adapt external environment change.

Work experience & skills requirements:

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of design experience with Master’s degree or 5 years with Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Electrical system design, master wiring diagram, qualification test.

  • Electrical system debug experience is preferred.

  • General knowledge on Elevator industry is preferred.

  • Working experience in global company is preferred.

  • Language:

  • CET-4 and above. Good in written and oral English.

  • Computer Skills:

  • E3 tool.

  • Microsoft office tool set.

  • Other Key Competencies:

  • Sense of ownership and responsibility, result oriented.

  • Creative and open mind, work smart and energetic.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Logical thinking and pro-active.

  • Other Preferred Experiences:

  • Excel VBA coding.

  • Project technical leader.

Educational Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor or above in Automation or Electrical Engineering
