Nvidia Distributed Systems Engineer, Structured Data Platform of AI Infrastructure in Shanghai, China

NVIDIA is hiring distributed systems and structured data platform engineers to design and develop our exa-scale AI infrastructure and deep learning platform for Autonomous Vehicles. Together, we will build the exa-scale software 2.0 cloud platform for one of the most ambitious problems of our time: autonomous vehicles. Then we will apply it to other applications such as medical imaging, data science, genomics and more.

What you'll be doing:

  • Platform Development : Spearhead the design and implementation of scalable, distributed structured data platforms. Your work will facilitate the indexing, mining, transformation, and composition of petabyte (PB) scale deep learning datasets.

  • Collaborative Innovation : Work hand-in-hand with multiple AI teams, crafting a future-proof platform that not only meets their current needs but anticipates future advancements, enhancing their overall productivity.

  • User Support : Act as a foundational support system for platform users, ensuring a seamless and productive experience.

What we need to see:

  • Academic Excellence : A BS, MS, in Computer Architecture, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Technical Prowess : A robust programming background, emphasizing data structures, design patterns, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and a proficiency in Java, Scala, or Go.

  • Experience : At least 3 years of work or research experience in the structured data platform development and design.

  • Versatility and Motivation : The capacity to navigate between long-term and immediate tactical tasks smoothly and a strong self-motivated mentality.

  • Platform Familiarity : Experience and internal knowledge with world-class structured data platforms such as Delta Lake, Spark, Flink, Kafka, will be a distinct advantage.
