Amazon’s Asia Global Selling team currently seeks for the Business Operations Manager who can learn quickly, deliver results with strong ownership, and build trust with various stakeholders in a dynamically changing environment. In this role, s/he will be providing critical support to accelerate sales and business operations.

A successful candidate will have experience managing complex business and challenges, and have the ability to provide data-driven solutions to improve the operations process and successfully drive initiatives forward. You have a strong bias toward data driven decision making, and an innate ability to understand how metrics relate to business problems and to each other. You have the ability to communicate priorities and work effectively with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that’s higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving challenging problems. You will tackle novel, challenging situations every day and have the opportunity to work with multiple teams at Amazon in different locations.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy, talented, self-motivated thought leader who can manage both innovation and execution. Qualified candidates have very strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to earn trust of others.

Roles and Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)

· Own the delivery of timely business operations and high quality work products

· Collaborate with the business teams to identify the issues, manage key business operations processes, set priorities, provide systematic solutions, and drive the execution excellence

· Leverage data tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau and Salesforce.com to manage and optimize sales opportunity

· Work relentlessly to improve existing processes and using data driven decision making to make recommendations for systems, process, and business improvements

· Develop SOPs, workflows, metrics, reports or other analytical tools to maximize productivity

· Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk taking behavior to maximize business benefit

· Have an entrepreneurial spirit, show excellent judgment, be passionate about high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo), deliver innovative solutions.

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years of professional experience in sales operations, program management, data analysis, or other related field

· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with professional experience with Excel/SQL; ability to handle data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop tools, and evaluate outcomes

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, with a track record of presenting to senior management

· Excellent project/process management skills in handling projects, priorities, and deliverables against deadlines

· Ability to work across multiple teams to create scalable solutions to monitor business performance and interpret key performance metrics into actionable recommendations

· Excels at delivering results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

· Innovative; loves to challenge status quo and reinvent on behalf of our Sellers and Business Customers

· MBA or Master's degree in relevant fields

· Experience with the development and implementation of systems/tool utilized for CRM, reporting, forecasting, sales force automation, etc.

· Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems

· Proficiency in statistical analysis tools

· Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people and systems in order to invent, simplify, and improve inefficient or unnecessarily complex processes

· Demonstrate ability to influence over authority to drive project deliverables

· Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel.
