Objectivesof thePosition:

  • The Fuel Cell Testing Engineer will have a background in fuel cell and hydrogen technology, experience in testing and evaluation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, laboratory environment.

  • Will take responsibility of the fuel cell testing systems as critical tools to screen and validate new technologies of hydrogen and fuel cell catalysts.

  • Continue effort to strengthen safety and 5S awareness and execution; Ensure Zero LTI, occupational disease, loss of containment, and exceeding environmental regulation limit.

Main Tasks:

  • Develop fuel cell and electrolysis performance and aging testing protocol based on needs.

  • Plan and execute fuel cell and electrolysis testing and aging processes, analyze testing data and timely deliver the data.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and results.

  • Ensure timely maintenance and calibration of the testing systems to minimize the lead time and downtime, and ensure data quality.

  • Collaborate with cross-regional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Responsible for the implementation of EHS risk control measures in the process of R&D experiment related activities, to ensure the lab operation meet local and company EHS requirements.

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position:

  • Education: Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field, experience in fuel cell and electrolysis testing and evaluation is a plus

  • Working Experience: Experience with data analysis and reporting using tools such as Origin and Excel

  • Technical & Professional Knowledge:

1).Excellent innovative thinking;

2). Basic English speaking and writing skills, can make presentation in English;

3). Need to show core competencies of BASF Asia Pacific like striving for achievement, communication and interpersonal understanding;
