Insight Global Signal Processing Engineer in Shalimar, Florida

Job Description

A client of Insight Global's is seeking a Simulation Systems Engineer to join their team out of Fort Walton Beach. The Fort Walton Beach team is seeking a qualified individual to join our team in developing cutting-edge simulations and systems utilizing embedded software and un-manned aircraft systems to meet customer needs. Their team specializes in radar, electronic warfare, target generation, and digital signal processing, and has been a recognized authority on RF solutions for the past 20+ years.

Responsibilities

  1. System Concept Development: Collaborate with a team of talented engineers and scientists to develop advanced system concepts from inception to prototype and production.

  2. Interdisciplinary Team Role: Operate as a member of a small inter-disciplinary engineering team, actively engaging and contributing to technical challenges.

  3. Program Support: Support advanced technology radar, guided munition, and electronic warfare programs, including research and development of advanced digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms, high-fidelity radar and RF modeling, simulation, analysis, and integration with RF sensors and systems.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics from an ABET-accredited school with 8+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.

  • Excellent math skills and/or good fundamentals in one or more of the following:

  • Signal Processing Algorithms

  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP)

  • RF Antenna Theory

  • Electromagnetics

  • Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)

  • Application of skills in radar modeling & simulation, antenna array theory, digital signal processing, algorithm development, and guided munition sensor systems.
