Aerotek Production Laborer in Shakopee, Minnesota
Description:
Contract to Union:
Looking for a candidate to build outdoor living products using concrete blocks, and other materials in a manufacturing setting.
Candidates will be performing a variety of tasks including some visual quality inspection of blocks.
You will be in a production setting, consistently moving material, bending and twisting.
Job Duties:
Read job specifications to determine material
Will perform fabrication techniques like cutting, gluing, grinding and leveling material
Utilize tape measure to make precise cuts for accuracy
Perform minor machine maintenance (anything larger a maintenance tech is on staff)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Landscaping, Hardscaping, Carpentry, or similar construction experience is a plus
Must be familiar with level, square, tape measure, and other various hand tools
Basic math skills
Able to read weight scale and tape measure proficient
Ability to lift concrete products, machine parts, and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds each, at heights from floor level to 4 feet high
Stand on feet for extended periods of time
