Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Seymour, Connecticut

Description:

Aerotek is looking for Industrial Maintenance Mechanics in the Seymour area for an immediate job opening. These people will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, installing, assembling, and repairing electrical components and electrical equipment throughout the facility and assist with other maintenance issues.

Tasks include:

• Review documentation / work orders

• Trouble shoot / diagnose electrical equipment / motor machinery issues

• Provide all types of repairs to electrical elements of machinery and equipment throughout the plant

• Assemble and repair equipment for the plant

• Design and plan electrical components related to machinery

• Identify, address and repair safety issues throughout the plant

• Provide preventive and predictive maintenance to machinery according to scheduled times

• Order parts and maintain supplies

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years manufacturing maintenance experience

• Basic Electrical skills (use a multimeter, change fuses, reset drives/PLC)

• Reliability and punctuality

• Ability to work both independently and in a group
