Your Impact:

Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storage, and distributing of materials; Perform all loading and unloading of trucks using a forklift and/or pallet jack; Duties include: processing all incoming receipts, palletizing materials, assisting with physical inventories, performing all functions necessary in the inventory system, and following all company/personal safety guidelines and standards; Match specific item identification data such as nomenclature, stock or part number, letter and number codes, quantity and units of issue on containers and stock locations with those on receiving reports and various other forms; Properly load, strap, consolidate, and secure truckloads.

  • Routes materials to prescribed storage or work locations.

  • Manages all storage areas to include configuration management to maximize space utilization.

  • Stores, stacks, or palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.

  • Prepares material for shipment to include wrapping, boxing, crate fabrication, strapping and palletizing of material to insure its safe shipment in accordance with commercial packing methods.

  • Rearranges and takes inventory of stored materials.

  • Examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage.

  • Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience in logistics and materials handling.

  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

  • Must possess and maintain a forklift operator's certification.
