The Field Applications Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs pre and/or post-sales and prepares detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions in alignment with manufacturer stated specifications.

This position is part of the Customer support department located in Seoul and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Field Applications Team and report to the Field Applications Supervisor responsible for coordinating resources to resolve the problem. If you thrive in a field applications role and want to work to build a world-class customer satisfaction organization—read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Assesses potential application of company products to meet customer needs pre and/or post-sales and prepares detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions in alignment with manufacturer stated specifications.

2.Creates detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions.

  1. Builds mini-applications with process simulation, often requiring rapid software modeling and/or product demo/training (at conferences, seminars, trade shows, or customer sites) for customer.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  1. Experience: more than 10 years of experience in Hematology, Immuno Assay or Clinical Chemistry applications.

  2. Anyone who doesn't have a problem with overseas travel and domestic business trips.

  3. Major: Clinical Pathology, Bioinformatics or Biomedical Laboratory Science

  4. Foreign Language: Preferential treatment for those with excellent English speaking, reading, and writing skill

  5. Computer utilization: MS Office availability and related program availability

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  1. Possessing technical aptitude and understanding of the diagnostic industry

  2. Patience and cooperation for positive minds and complex problem solving

  3. Responsibility for one's work & communication skills with customers and colleague
